Linux management.
Made simple.
Tiaris brings your Linux desktops together in one clear Console. Describe the setup once, review every change, and let Nest take care of installs and software delivery in your building.
The Console · what needs you, what is rolling out, and what Nest is working on
From first boot to a fleet you can trust.
-
Step 1 · Enrol
Connect, review, approve
Network-boot computers through Nest, match their pairing codes and review the installation disks before you approve. Set up a whole classroom in one session.
-
Step 2 · Blueprint
Describe the perfect setup once
Choose the desktop, App Lists and Policy in a versioned Blueprint. Or import a reference computer and review what Tiaris can carry over before you save.
-
Step 3 · Roll out
Review first. Roll out with confidence.
See which computers will change and what they need. Approve the plan, test on one computer, then approve the next wave. Restore a previous Blueprint when needed.
Your fleet,
clearly in view.
See which computers are up to date, what needs you, and what Nest is working on. Blueprints, Policies and App Lists keep everyday management in one place, in light or dark mode.
Know what reached the desktop
Configuration checks show, for each computer, whether managed settings took effect, including those that wait for the next sign-in.
App Lists you can reuse
Build an App List once and use it in several Blueprints. Every change is a new version you review and deploy on your terms.
Changes you approve
Review compatibility and scope before anything starts. Follow each wave, approve the next one, and roll back to a previous Blueprint when you need to.
Existing work accounts
Tiaris supports Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace sign-in. A Policy chooses how people sign in to managed desktops.
NixOS desktops
Tiaris manages NixOS desktops. The network installer supports x86-64 UEFI computers connected by Ethernet.
Roles and history
Console roles and permissions, plus activity and deployment history.
Meet Nest.
The helper in your building. New
Nest is the small server on your network that boots new computers, prepares installations and delivers software locally. The Console shows you what is ready and when to step in.
Software delivered locallyNest prepares and caches software on your network, so computers share local downloads instead of fetching the same files over your internet connection.
Network boot, with your approvalOn the same wired network, Nest supplies boot information alongside your existing DHCP server. Review computers and disks before installation starts.
A helper that looks after itselfNest maintains its services and reports their health. Computers that are already installed can be adopted without reinstalling.

Formerly known as Cybex
A tiaris is a grassquit: a small, busy bird that builds a sturdy nest and looks after it.
Cybex is now Tiaris and James is now Nest. Only the name and the look changed. Blueprints, Policies, App Lists and computers carry on exactly as before.
